Our practice is dedicated to servicing our community in a variety of ways.  Many people suffer from heel, foot or arch pain that arises from a poor walking pattern, or abnormal bio-mechanics. 

In these cases, it is appropriate to evaluate whether some supportive orthotics are required to correct the biomechanical abnormality, and provide extra cushioning to the foot in an effort to normalize the gait pattern.

Our Metascan dynamic software scans the foot 150 times per second, and tracks 8 key points along the plantar surface of the foot.  Our dynamic display captures bilateral plantar pressure during the stance phase of gait. Gait observations show each of the 8 key points relative to pressure and time in a colour corresponding to the 2D and 3D composite image and displays gait analysis data.  This information is used along with the clinician information to design the best possible prescription for your custom orthotics.
